Comments: My Tante Jula's brother Erwin H. Meyer was a voice interceptor POW in Stalag Luft I according to the obit found at "Find A Grave." Please let me know if you have anymore information on him.

Comments: In particular, I'm wondering if he could have been working for the german side--he was still a german citizen when he went home for a visit in '38. A side note that I find peculiar is that my mother was an Aufseherin in a different POW camp.

Comments: Just finished The Price of Vigilance - Great read - I was a 203 Chinese linguist at Yokota in 1960-1962 - flew the B50 and C130 both - Stayed in 7 years + and finished up at Goodfellow in 1965 - 56 months in grade for E5 when I left, pickings looked mighty slim for rank - think about USAFSS all the time -
