Comments: My Dad, Wilson C. Lowery, was in Security Service. We lived in Alaska, were the first dependents on Wakkanai, and San Vito Dei Normandi, Italy. My dad had strokes in Wakkanai, Italy, and then in San Antonio where he was stationed at Medina. He was medically retired in 1969 when I was 14 years old. Please contact me if you knew him. Comments: In particular, I'm wondering if he could have been working for the german side--he was still a german citizen when he went home for a visit in '38. A side note that I find peculiar is that my mother was an Aufseherin in a different POW camp.
